I started to read in English a few years ago. But I never wrote in English.
Now I just want to share some impressions from the book I read.
They overwhelm me ...
Just a few moments.
I hope that they will inspire you to invest into your relationship.
The DNA of Relationship:
You are made for relationship. Relationship are part of the creation design. You are created to need relationship.
You are made with the capacity to choose. You can’t always choose your relationship, but you can choose how you will act in those relationship.
You are made to take responsibility for yourself. You are responsible for your choices and actions. You cannot change the other person, but you can take responsibility for your own behavior.
That idea sounds to me almost revolutionary…just look:
Conflict is never just about the other person.
All relationship involve choice. When you choose to work toward healthy relationship, you often find things need to change. You must choose to change, even when the change is scary.
This idea is simply amazing, especially for those people who are only going to create a family. Look! - Don’t expect the other person to be your solution.
Because, when we do this, when you expect people, places and things to fulfill your wants, you will be disappointed.
God created us to depend on Him, and as human beings we naturally gravitate toward being dependent. But there’s a problem: such dependency was designed and reserved for God alone, not for our spouses or friends or bosses.
